Food supplier chosen for FIS World Ski Championships

Hamar Catering won the tender to supply all the food during the WSC in 2011. This means that the company will supply 7000 people with food several times daily for 11 days.

Hospitality Manager in Ski-VM 2011 Marit Almås Røste is pleased that the agreement with the Hedmark-based catering company is now signed.

- "We chose Hamar Catering because of their experience with large complex events. In addition, they impressed us when they had responsibility for providing food to 3000 people during the three days of the trial WSC. We require a partner with good cooperation skills and lots of flexibility. These are precisely the areas they excelled at during the World Cup last winter", says Røste. She feels that Hamar Catering is also a cut above when it comes to menus and high quality food.

Hamar Catering will prepare food for 1,300 athletes and support staff, 2,000 volunteer officials, 1,800 journalists and prepare about 1,500 VIP food packages each day during the WSC.
