The FIS World Ski Championships (WSC) are going to be the high point of the season for both Marit Bjørgen and Therese Johaug. "Having the WSC here in Norway is an incredible experience and the only opportunity to compete in a major championship on our home turf," said the two ski stars.

What they are looking forward to most is the mood at Holmenkollen. "Already during the World Cup in March, we experienced a wonderful celebration with the crowds, they cheered us on the whole way. There were so many people! I get chills when I think about it", says Johaug.

The women are now fully focused on good training and good rest, with the goal of being in top shape for the FIS Nordic World Championships in February and March 2011.
