John AalbergDirector of Sports John joined the Oslo2011 organizing committee after spending six years working in the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Committee as the Director of Nordic Sports and Venue Manager for the Whistler Olympic Park. John was also Chief of Competition and responsible for the design and management of the Cross-Country venue for the Olympic Games in Salt Lake City 1997 - 2002. He was appointed by FIS as Technical Delegate for the 2006 Olympic Games in Torino, for the 2007 Nordic World Championship in Sapporo, as well as for numerous World Cup competitions during the last 10 years. He is also a consultant for the Sochi 2014 Olympic Committee. John grew up in Stjørdal in the middle part of Norway and completed a degree at the Norwegian College of Sports in Oslo. In 1983 he moved to the USA where he gained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. John competed as a Cross-Country skier, medalled at the Norwegian National Championship, was American Champion five times, and skied for the USA national team in the 1992 and 1994 Olympic Games in Albertville and Lillehammer. |

Stein OpsalCFO Stein Opsal has an MBA from BI, and most recently served as managing director and founder of the telecommunications company Carrot Communications ASA, which earlier this year merged with the Enlightenment 1881. Stein also has extensive experience as CEO of two Telenor company and CFO in the Norwegian newspaper VG. He has been active in the ski sport in any year, with it's first in the 2011 World Ski Championships that he has used this involvement in the work context. |

Adelheid B. SætherDirector of Administration Adelheid Sæther is Chief Operating Officer. She has studied at the Norwegian School of Hotel Management, and has a long and wide experience in the travel business. Adelheid's previous position was managing director in Skanplus Hotel Pass. She is also experienced within fields such as event, sales and marketing from Tusenfryd, and in addition to that, she held various sales and marketing positions at Choice Hotels during an expansion period; the hotel chain grew from 12 to 100 hotels. Adelheid has always been an active sportswoman, both as a trainer and an athlete. |

Egil StoraasMarketing Director Egil Storaas is Marketing Director for Ski-VM 2011 AS. He is a market and business economist, and has a great deal of experience in the media and communication sectors. Egil has formerly worked for the newspaper Aftenposten and the publishing house Ernst G. Mortensens Forlag, and has developed the sales and marketing divisions at TV2, as the TV channel's first Marketing Director. He has been Managing Director of the media agency Mediacom and National Manager for the Norwegian activities of the Grey Global Group. For the last three years, Egil has run his own consultancy business for organisational development, sales, media and communication. He has a close connection to Holmenkollen and the Marka area, and looks forward to using his experience and interest in ski sports to promote the great events at Homenkollen in 2011. |

Mari Rosenvinge NygaardHR Director Mari Rosenvinge Nygaard has been working for Norwegian Shell for 15 years, most recently as manager for the Motorist Retail market. Mari has also worked with Human Resources for Shell, where she was training manager for the Motorist Retail market, developing and carrying out training programmes and management training. She also brings with her a great deal of experience in recruitment, management and company restructuring processes. Mari graduated as a business economist from the University of Manheim in Germany. |

Lasse OttesenAssistant Director of Sports Lasse Ottesen is a former Norwegian ski jumper. He boasts eight podium placements in the World Cup, and set a world record at the ski flying hill in Planica (212 meters) in 1997. In 1994 he took an Olympic silver medal in the individual large hill in Lillehammer, only beaten by countryman Espen Bredesen. Ottesen has also worked as a jumping coach for the U.S. nordic combined national team, and been an assistant coach for the Norwegian ski jumping national team. |

Tove IndgjerdDirector of Culture and protocol Tove Indgjerd has twenty years of experience in the public sector. Before she joined Ski-VM AS she was head of the Mayor’s Office in Oslo Municipality. She has also worked for the Ministry of Culture’s sports department, as well as taking part as a volunteer and sports representative for several years. She is now looking forward to working in sports once again. Tove is a political scientist, and graduated from the University of Bergen with a major in Administration and Organisation Theory. |

Nina Horn HynnePR and Communication Director Nina Horn Hynne has provided public relations and information consulting services since 1992. Before joining Ski-VM 2011, she was an independent consultant in public relations and communications. In 2003 she was one of the founders of PR-operatørene, a successful public relations agency specialising in marketing PR. Nina has previously been an information consultant in JKL Oslo (formerly Woldsdal & Partners) and in Geelmuyden.Kiese. She has also been a journalist for the marketing journal Kampanje. Nina has a degree in public relations and journalism from the University of Oregon, USA. |
