Below you will find practical information on how to most efficiently get to and from Holmenkollen, and how you can contribute to effective public flow inside the arena.

Take Line 1 to Holmenkollen or walk up from Oslo city center
If you choose to use public transportation, there will be frequent fast train departures to Holmenkollen station that will start early in the morning. These will be marked "Holmenkollen express" and they will stop at all downtown stations.  Majorstuen will be the last stop before they run non-stop up to Holmenkollen. Relief buses have also been organised departing from Majorstuen station that will go directly to Midtstuen. From here, spectators will be able to walk up to the Holmenkollen Cross Country arena (about 1 km).

We also encourage you to walk up to Holmenkollen.  It takes about 1 ½ hours to walk up from Majorstuen. Follow Slemdalsveien to Slemdal, and continue up Frognerseterveien to Midtstuen station. From here it is about 1 km up to Holmenkollen Cross-country arena and Holmenkollen Ski Jump stadium.

Contribute to efficient public flow in the arenas
Gates open at 8.00, three hours before the start of the Nordic Combined Ski Jumping. The day begins with Nordic Combined large hill ski jumping at 11.00. Cross-country team sprint qualification races for women and men begin at 12.15. If you want to catch the start of the Cross-country qualification races we recommend that you leave the Ski Jump stadium just before the finish. Please be prepared for some queuing as people move between the arenas and as new spectators arrive.  

Cross-country team sprint finals for women and men begin at 14.15. The Nordic Combined Cross-country Gundersen 10km race starts at 16.00. The large hill Ski Jump Individual Qualifications start at 18.00. If you wish to stay and watch the Nordic Combined 10km and the Ski Jump qualifications please stay in your seats until homeward bound spectators have departed.

Anyone who has bought a ticket to WSC for 2nd March has access to all the events throughout the day. In the Holmenkollen ski jump arena you can choose to sit in any Zone apart from Zone A.

Return Trip
Those who choose to take the subway back from the venue please go to Holmenkollen Station.
For those who want to walk back to the city center, please go down through Midtstulia (public service volunteers will show you the way). Continue down Frognerseterveien to Slemdal, and onward down to Majorstuen.
