The new Holmenkollen national arena is accessible for people with disabilities. It meets all legal accessibility requirements, thus ensuring that everyone enjoys their Holmenkollen experience.

Information about the stands

Sections with disability access:

• Cross-country arena: Section L, last row

• Holmenkollen ski jump: Section F, last row

• Midtstubakken ski jump: Designated section

Transport

The new Holmenkollen metro line (Line 1) is accessible and subject to universal design requirements. See the Ruter web-pages for further information, and consult Trafikanten for information about public transit schedules.

Note that the access to the arena from the Holmenkollen and Midtstuen stations is steep in parts, and for some spectators it may be a strenuous walk (approximately 1 km).

For those with special needs there will be some availability of rides between the arena and the Metro and bus stops. WSC representatives will be present to provide guidance and support.

For users of Disabled Transportation Services (TT), we advice maintaining normal travel routines.

Specialised parking at Holmenkollen

For those requiring specialised cars and have a permit for this:

•To access the cross-country arena and Midtstubakken ski jump: Designated parking spots by Kapellplassen

•To access the Holmenkollen ski jump: Designated parking spots by the WSC house

For the hard of hearing or deaf:

Those who are hard of hearing or deaf are advised to use the following ticket zones where sign language interpretation and written interpretation (on-screen text) will be available:

•Cross-country arena: Zone O (or zone U if zone O is sold out)

•Holmenkollen ski jump: Zone V or C

•Midtstubakken ski jump: Zone X

Important! Those who want sign language interpretation or written interpretation (texting) must purchase tickets to the zones mentioned above and give notification either by email to arild.berstad@nav.no or by text message to 997 86 590. Let us know which times and events you have tickets to, and whether you want sign language interpretation or written interpretation.

We accept companion cards (ledsagerbevis).
