Oslo2011 is pleased to welcome the media to the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships at Holmenkollen.

The dead line for press accreditation is now due. We are currently processing all requests received before the accreditation dead line. We cannot guarantee that accreditation requests received after the dead-line will be proccessed, due to the large amount of requests received.

NB! Be aware that the deadline to book accommodation was 1 December 2010. After this date rooms or rates cannot be guaranteed.

For right-holder broadcasters there is a separate accreditation process. Dead line for right-holders was 15 December 2010. For additional information for broadcasters, please contact rtvaccreditaiton@holmenkollen.com

FIS Season Accreditation is not valid for the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships.

Criterias for press accreditation

To meet the requirements for press accreditation, the following criterias must be fulfilled:

• bona-fide member of the news media
• covering the Nordic skiing diciplines
• member of a national or international press organisations and hold a valid press card, please include press card number

There are two press accreditation categories available; journalist or photographer.

Photographers accreditation and press accreditation for internet/web/online media

The photographers accreditation allows only still pictures, and no rights to record live pictures. This means no use of moving images on any Internet sites. For this reason, no video, moving images or a series of single pictures or images that resemble video or moving pictures from inside the venue at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships will be permitted. Media organisations may feature still pictures on their Internet sites provided such pictures are not animated by any effect or “rotated” in such a way as to be sequential.
A FIS waiver must be signed upon picking up accreditation.

Freelancers

Freelancers are asked to provide info regarding their media assignment(s) for the World Championships.
