How to buy tickets

There are 21 events and many tickets to choose from. Tickets cost from NOK 305 to 795 (not including ticket fee). On some days, ticket sales will be by event. On other days, day passes will be available. Below is a zone map and a list of all the types of tickets available per day.

Here you will find information about child discount, group discount, VIP tickets and tickets for the Disabled.

Hopp stor bakke, individuell - menn 

Child discount
Children under 12 are free of charge in the least expensive zones (U, V, W, X) when accompanied by a guardian. (Note: They need to have a ticket and have to pay a ticket fee of NOK 20). Children under 3 are free of charge in zone M, L, K, O, P, C, D, E, F, T, S, and do not need to have a ticket. In zone N, A, B, G, H, R children under 3 are free of charge as long as the do not take up a seat (sit on the lap).

During the championships there will be a children's activity area at Lille VM-haugen, most suited for the youngest kids. This will be free of charge and open for everybody. The days with Cross-Country events (except sprint), there will also be a children's activity park at Kapellskogen suited for a little older kids. Note: This is only available for those with access to ticket zone W.

Group discount
On orders of over 250 tickets: 5% discount. Over 500 tickets: 10% discount.
Discounts do not apply to numbered seats. For group reservations, send an e-mail to grupper@billettservice.no  or call + 47 815 33 321.

Free transport
Your ticket gives free public transport on all of Ruter’s communications lines within Oslo, Zone 1.

Disabled
Wheelchair users and those who require placement within range of the induction loop for hearing assistance must order tickets by calling + 47 815 33 133. Those assisting the disabled or wheelchair users enter free of charge but must pay a ticket fee of NOK 22.

Dette krever mye planlegging og tiltak i Holmenkollen og i Oslo-området forøvrig - både i forhold til energi, transport, overnatting, bespisning, avfallshåndtering og annen tilrettelegging.

Mest miljøvennlige skimesterskap noensinne
VM-arrangementet har som ambisjon å være det mest miljøvennlige skimesterskap noensinne. Gjennom hele prosessen fra tidlig planlegging og fram til iverksetting og gjennomføring integreres klima og miljøperspektivet i de ulike delene av arrangementet. Samtidig er det en målsetting for Ski-VM 2011 at klima- og miljøarbeidet i arrangementet skal bidra til et permanent klima og miljøfokus i norsk skiidrett. Tiltakene i forbindelse med VM-arrangementet skal være en inspirasjon og et forbilde. Skiidrettens klima og miljøinitiativ Hvit vinter er engasjert for å koordinere klima- og miljøtiltakene.

Samarbeid
VM-arrangøren alene kan ikke oppnå de ambisiøse klima og målsettingene. På vesentlige områder er vi avhengig av det nære samarbeidet med Oslo kommune som anleggseier og Ruter AS for publikumstransport. Tett dialog med alle samarbeidspartnere er nødvendig for å oppnå ønsket klima- og miljøeffekt.

Ikke minst appellerer Ski-VM 2011 til tilskuere, deltagere og støtteapparat om å bidra til å gjøre mesterskapet i Holmenkollen til et miljøvennlig arrangement.
