The accommodation for teams will be in high standard hotels approximately 20 minutes by bus from the venues in Holmenkollen and within 15 minutes from the Medal Plaza and city centre of Oslo. The LOC has a good co-operation with the hotels and can promise you an adequate accommodation especially adjusted to the needs of the athletes and teams.
There will be 4 official hotels with a level of minimum 4 stars, and all with good experience in hosting athletes. Three meals per day will be served at the hotel, all with sufficient and high quality food adapted to the needs of athletes. All through the day it will also be a small snack buffet available. The hotels have 24h reception service, free internet connection and TV in all rooms.
In each hotel there will be an information desk, attended by qualified and service-minded staff skilled in languages. They can answer your questions about the event and help you with all practical matters like transportation, results, weather reports etc.
If teams need rooms for physio, team meetings etc. they can book this directly from the reception. This has to be paid to the hotel directly together with other extras like parking, extra drinks etc.

Regulation and booking
The accommodation will be handled by Gyro Conference AS. They are the official partner of accommodation for the FIS Nordic
World Ski Championships 2011 and will handle the reservations and payment according to the FIS rules. The LOC will cover the
accommodation for the qualified athletes and team members according to the quota. For qualified athletes and officials the
maximum price is 120 CHF. Number of nights of free accommodation for qualified competitors who participate in the respective
competition is 4 nights per competition. The maximum number of nights of free accommodation cannot exceed the total duration
of the championships:
- Cross Country Lady: 22.2-6.3 - (night before the first official training, night after last competition) = 12 days
- Cross Country Men: 22.2-7.3 - (night before the first official training, night after last competition) = 13 days
- Nordic Combined: 22.2-5.3 - (night before the first official training, night after last competition) 11 days
- Ski jumping men: 22.2-6.3 (night before the first official training, night after last competition) 12 days
- Ski jumping ladies: maximum 1 competition = 4 days
For people outside the quota, and for all athletes/officials before and after the official Championships period, the rates will be as follows:
Twin room full board: NOK 1295 pr. person pr. night
Single room full board: NOK 1595 pr. night.
For teams who would like to upgrade for more single rooms than the rules require, the price will be NOK 300 pr. night pr. person.

Deadline for preliminary booking is 30 October 2010. Please note that we can not guarantee for rooms or prices after this date.
A deposit of 50% of the total number and covering all nights will be sent NSA for payment within 15 November 2010. An invoice
of the remaining 50% will be sent for payment within 15 January.
A reimbursement of the expenses will be prepared according to the rules of free accommodation for qualified competitors after
the event, and will be paid out before 30 April 2011.
Cancellation conditions:
Cancellation has to be done in writing to teamaccommodation@oslo2011.no
Cancellation can be done without charges provided that:
• Cancellation of up to 100 % of the original reservation is received before 1 December
• Cancellation of up to 50 % of the original reservation is received before 10 January
• Cancellation of up to 25 % of the original reservation is received before 5 February
The last specified booking received 5 February will be considered as final and will be the basis for the calculation of the
total payment, cancellation fees and no-shows.
In case of no show - No refund (100 % of the reservation has to be paid)
If cancellation is received later than the above mentioned dates, the teams have to pay 100 % of the reservation.
